2.3 Copying step-dependent objects to a different step

Product: Abaqus/CAE

Benefits: When copying a step-dependent object such as a load or boundary condition, you can now choose a different destination step for the copied object. This enhancement improves usability and saves time when working with multistep analyses in Abaqus/CAE.

Description: Using the Abaqus/CAE object manager dialog boxes, menu commands, or Model Tree, you can copy loads, boundary conditions, interactions, predefined fields, output requests, or adaptive mesh constraints. In previous releases of Abaqus/CAE, these objects could only be copied into the same step. You can now choose another valid step of the analysis as the destination for the copied object, as shown in Figure 2–3.
